Exhibit in Sweden

From 13th February to 11th April 2010, the Naturum Värmland Mariebergsskogen (Karlstad, Sweden) will be presenting the new Stefano's exhibit "The ambassadors of springtime".

"The ambassadors of springtime" exhibition brings together some of Stefano images on crane and whooper swan; particularly, the photographs presented are a selection from Stefano's latest mission in Sweden for the "Wild Wonders of Europe" project.

 

 

Judge for Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2010

The 46th annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition is now open, and once again they are seeking the very best innovative and inspiring wildlife images. The WPY is the world's most prestigious nature photography competition.

 

Stefano has been chosen to be part of the jury for the 2010 Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Stefano ambassador for Hitachi's G-Tech

Stefano on the Italian TV show "Alle falde del Kilimangiaro"

Last Sunday, Stefano appeared live on the Italian TV show "Alle falde del Kilimangiaro" (Rai 3). Stefano talk about photography and his work with the brown bear, and presented his new book "The nights of the bear".

SUPERALP!3 on National Geographic Italy

This November, National Geographic Italy featured a 16 pages article on SUPERALP! project, with the photographs by Stefano and the text by Stéphanie Unterthiner.

SUPERALP! is a soft mobility expedition across the Alps. Last June, Stefano and his wife Stéphanie, spent two weeks on assignment for National Geographic Italy, crossing Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, only by using sustainable transports (i.e. bike, train, bus, cableway and, of course, walking); for the 2009 SUPERALP! expedition, the main theme has been the water, in all its forms.
